The ride from Brussels to Tolmin, Slovenia takes about 1200 km. The highway goes al the way to Ljubljana ( capital of Slovenia ). Metalcamp.com provides a route manager so you can look up the best possible route to get there.  Closest airport to Tolmin is in Trieste, Italy, at about 88 km from the festival town. Other nearby airports include Ljubljana, Klagenfurt ( Austria ), and Venice ( Italy ), ranging in distance to Tolmin from 100 to 180 km. Taxi company to the festival available at special prices, but you need reservations. Mail them here. The nearest train station is Most na Soci (5 km away from Tolmin). There you can catch one of the Metalcamp shuttle buses that will take you to the festival area. Other possibilities are Ljubljana or Udine ( Italy ) train station. |
ENGLISH Departure from Belgium to Tolmin Day of departure: thursday 3rd of July 2008 Hour of departure at busstops: Probable arrival at Tolmin: Friday 4th of July 2008 at 18h00. You will be dropped off at the entrance of the festival campingsite! (*) Remark: this busstop depends on the number of paid reservations on May 15th 2008. Also time of departure depends on the number of subscribers! Departure from Tolmin to Belgium Day of departure: (tuesdaynight) 8th of July 2008 immediately after the festival (the exact departure time will be mentioned later) Place of departure: entrance of the festivalcampingsite The bus will be present at tuesdaynoon 12h00, so you will be able to put your luggage and campinggear into the bus. We request you to do this before 15h00!
